Your vision of your wedding is our vision too. The Retreat is a one stop shop for a destination Texas Hill Country wedding.
The Retreat offers couples the added benefit of a stress-free big day: our wedding team creates personalized itineraries that include activities (think horseback riding, archery, fishing, margaritas by the beach) and full-service dining and imbibing experiences so guests are kept happy and entertained for the weekend. Our in house coordinator will work with you to create your timeline, diagrams for the weekend and menu selection, along with organizing your vendors arrival and departure times. Our caring, professional, and talented event staff execute all the weekend’s festivities inclusive of activities, the rehearsal dinner, the ceremony, the reception, and all meals.
The Retreat provides full use of all on-site facilities and grounds during the day of your event. This includes the use of all furniture, lighting, and integrated audio systems. Customize your event to your vision and budget with our list of preferred vendors or through personal selections.
The Retreat at Balcones Springs is a unique venue offering in-house gourmet catering. In-house catering is required for all events, with some exceptions made on an individual basis for rehearsal meals only.
The Retreat operates as a private club, meaning all alcoholic beverages must be purchased and served through our facility. We offer host bar, cash bar, or custom bar options. No outside alcohol is permitted on the property.
ONE NIGHT RENTALS
If you choose to rent The Retreat for just one magical day, you have the option for you and your guests to stay overnight in our on-site cabins. A contracted Room Block of cabins is not
required with Day Rental but encouraged to guarantee availability for guests.
You can also rent The Retreat for an entire weekend of fun and magic for you, your family, and friends. A room block of cabins is required with a weekend rental and typically lasts from Friday– Sunday, or any two nights of the week.
